Spotlight on Options

Did you know that RealTick contains volatility based order triggers?

RealTick managed conditional orders have the capability of triggering orders based on specifiable implied volatility conditions.

Users can select from the implied volatility of the Options bid price (Bid Imp Vol) or the implied volatility of the Options ask price (Ask Imp Vol).

Configure and set volatility-based Conditional Option Orders in TurboOptionsTM. Enter Conditional Order dialog box.

Goldman Sachs Joins RealTick's Global Broker Network

We are very pleased to announce the addition of Goldman Sachs to RealTick’s extensive global broker network. RealTick users can now access Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading (GSET). This includes the full suite of Goldman Sachs equity algorithms in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia. GSET algorithms seek optimal execution based on user-defined parameters and access a number of displayed and non-displayed sources, including SIGMA X. Clients can also route orders for equity trades directly to the market (DMA) via the SIGMA smart router.

Société Générale Added to RealTick's Global Broker Network

We are also pleased to announce that RealTick users can now route equity DMA orders, worked orders, list trades and program trades directly to Société Générale, taking advantage of the bank’s leadership in equities and market share liquidity across the globe. Traders also will have access to Société Générale’s suite of algorithmic trading strategies. For full press release, click here.

Multi-Broking 102

In our March issue, we highlighted that users can access a network of over 70 leading global brokers spanning all major asset classes through a centralized interface within RealTick. Worked orders, algorithms, darks pools, proprietary research and analytics are all readily accessible through a set of easy-to-use tools and drop-down menus.

In this issue, we will explore 2 innovative features which will help further optimize your multi-broker trading: Virtual Routes and Dynamic Toolbars.

Virtual Routes
Users who want to send orders to multiple broker algorithms with a single click can create virtual routes. This powerful feature allows a user to configure what appears to be a single destination, but splits an order and places the child orders at multiple brokers or venues simultaneously. Dynamic Toolbars
New in RealTick 9.2, Dynamic toolbars allow users to enable toolbars that dynamically adjust based on an account. Click here for more info

Getting started with multi-broking is easy:
  • To access your broker’s products and services via RealTick, contact your broker account representative directly to get the process started.
  • To find out more about RealTick’s global broker network, click on the RT Connect icon in the upper right hand corner of your RealTick display at any time during your session or click here to view a sample list of RealTick brokers.
