RealTick has been making preparations to be in a position to act quickly if a new currency is introduced to the world’s financial markets.
Planned Addition of a New Currency
If a new currency is introduced in a planned manner, RealTick will add the currency into its production systems over a two week period, with the goal of adding the currency into its test systems at least two weeks prior to the actual introduction of the new currency.
Unplanned Addition of a New Currency
In the event of a sudden and unplanned introduction of a new currency, RealTick is prepared to be able to add the currency into its production systems within two days following the actual introduction of the currency into world markets. RealTick will work as quickly as possible to identify any issues that may arise during an unplanned introduction.
Communication Strategy
RealTick will send out announcements to all customers via Service Notices. Additionally, Service and Account Managers will be in active contact (email, phone, etc.) with customers in case of a disruptive event that affects RealTick.
