• 2010 - • RealTick releases version 9.3, adding advanced derivatives functionality for futures and options trading, including automated delta hedging, ISE Spread Book, plus enhanced order types, FX trading and graphical trade execution visualisation
• 2009 - RealTick launches version 9.2, with advanced workflow and order entry tools for better trade performance, enhanced portfolio trading, plus new options and spreads capabilities. RealTick pioneers the use of FIXatdl for rapid broker algorithmic deployment 
• 2008 - RealTick adds enhanced multi-broker functionality, plus faster and broader access to global liquidity and MiFID related functions as part of version 9.1.  Townsend Analytics is acquired by Barclays Group and is an independently operated and wholly owned subsidiary
• 2007 - Global broker network is significantly expanded with algorithmic and multi-asset execution 
• 2006 - European service desk is added to global service capability
• 2005 - Townsend Analytics is acquired by Lehman Brothers and is an independently operated as a wholly owned subsidiary

• 2003 - Public customer access to Townsend Analytics’ new premier server technology and architecture with enhanced market data, streaming from more sources than previously possible with connections to domestic and foreign equity, futures, and options, plus domestic bonds
• 2002 - Townsend Analytics offers order routing services and a suite of mid-office and back-office tools. With over 2,200 servers that support 10,000 quotes per second, Townsend Analytics has built a warehouse of sophisticated financial applications and data feeds, plus robust network management systems that allow the most complex financial systems to meet stringent trading regulations

• 1997 - Townsend Analytics develops Archipelago®, the first completely open ECN in the US. Archipelago, approved by the SEC, uses a proprietary algorithm developed by Townsend Analytics that finds the best price for orders and provides investors fast, cost-efficient and anonymous market access
